The Plant Gang

In lieu of any creative content from me today, I thought I would introduce you to a couple of new super heros: Plant Girl and her sidekick, the imaginatively named Plant Boy.

Plant Girl is Esme’s new alter ego.

According to Esme, Plant Girl was once a totally ordinary little girl. She was walking down the street with her mum one day when she stepped onto a normal looking paving stone which sank down, down, down below the earth and took her away to a new world where she met lots of other kids who had been kidnapped too. They all got given magic powers and special costumes on their way to the other world – I’m not entirely clear on how this one works. Maybe the paving stone has some kind of special technology embedded in it?

Plant Girl tries to escape but she never sees her mum again and instead she has to fight bad guys all day.

Her special power is plants. She can draw plants up from the earth and use them like tentacles to tie up bad guys and trip them over. She has some kind of special boots with really thin soles that let her feel the earth through them. Apparently they also have rockets in them so that Plant Girl can fly. Her white skirt has flower lace on it to show that her special power is plants.

Plant Boy hasn’t been given an origin story per se. I think Plant Girl just adopted him from among the other kids who’d been kidnapped or something.

He does have a super shiny bright pink cape though. And l0ts of enthusiasm for a super power punch pose.

When they’re not busy fighting the forces of evil and twirling their capes valiantly, the Plant Gang spend their time hanging out with these dudes.
